Those with auto's you can ignore.

I am going to have to add a little maintenance tip for the 6spd's... (sorry for the length)

I would suggest to those of you that have a clutch peddle that always seems to have some play in it and have bled the clutch a billion times. Get a new cone washer Pic part number 31264. I noticed my clutch starting to act funny right around 100k miles. I have changed the clutch about 3-4 times but never changed the washers and clips that hold the release bearing.

My personal problem was this, the top of the clutch peddle had some play.  When i pressed the clutch in fully (such as the staging lanes) the car would barely try to roll forward like the clutch wasn't disengaging fully. I thought it could be the old rubber clutch line swelling, I mean the car is almost 10 years old. So I changed clutch lines. I did what mohd did with his clutch line and can say that his recommendations worked great. the only thing i would of changed would be changing the length needed since i already had the stock line (which is 3/4 hard line anyway). but i just changed the entire length of line instead of just the rubber part. I also changed the master and slave cylinders. and the problem pursued. I was still able to shift when I left for the Texas meet. However by Friday evening the problem was worse than ever. I couldn't shift at all. The clutch would not disengage. I have to thank mohd here, he spent as much time as me (probably even more)under my car trying to fix the situation. Gotta hand it to a guy that will drive from Arizona to Texas just to climb under a car all weekend long...

I was still getting around in Texas by shifting without the clutch. this is very hard on the synchro's and it took its toll. I drove it home and as the night went on, I got tired, I got more sloppy with the shifting and yes I toasted the 3rd gear synchoro.

I finally made it home and found some time to drop the tranny and found the problem

The cone washer was perfectly flat causing the play. So it seems that 70k miles with a heavier pressure plate takes its toll on that washer.

I ordered a full set of washers/clips and put it all back together. The clutch feels WONDERFUL now. My clutch hasn't felt this smooth or strong in a long long time. I only wish I had a 3rd gear synchoro :(
